Installing this thermostat is no different than installing any other thermostats. You will also need to connect iT8 to the Thermostat Controller which then needs to be connected to your Internet router using a CAT5 cable. See the schematic bellow for an overview.

The Thermostat Controller and the iT8 are connected using CAT5 cable. Only 3 wires are used, and they are connected as following:

• white/blue connected to the terminal labeled G
• orange connected to the terminal labeled A
• white/orange connected to the terminal labeled B

The thermostat is connected to the furnace and the Thermostat Controller as following:

• 24V (usually red) wire connected to AC24V(1)
• heating system (usually white) wire connected to H_STG(2)
• cooling system (usually yellow) wire connected to C_STG(3)
• fan relay (usually green) wire connected to motor(4)
• common (usually blue) wire connected to com(5)

• white/blue wire connected to com(5)
• orange wire connected to 485+(8)
• white/orange wire connected to 485-(9)
